The CORE 2 Program is the follow-on class to our 6 Week Basic Self-Defense Course. It is designed to teach an intermediate skill set that follows the Basic Program. CORE 2 is a curriculum driven program. Students must complete the CORE: Basic Self Defense Program before enrolling in CORE 2. The class consists of a moderate 20 minute workout followed by technique instruction.

Students will need to dress in comfortable workout attire and bring shoes that have never been worn outside or wear no shoes at all.

  • Intermediate Striking Techniques
  • Defense to Strikes
  • Take Downs
  • Counters to Chokes and Holds
  • Chokes
  • Ground Fighting
  • Weapons Defense
  • Firearm Retention
  • Weapons of Opportunity/Improvised Weapons

The CORE 2 Program is a 10 week Program. Unlike the CORE program, students may drop into the course at any time. The class meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:45 to 9:15.
